As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly embedded in everyday life, science museums are uniquely positioned to demystify its complexities and ignite curiosity. This session explores how museums can harness AI not only as a subject of inquiry, but as a creative and participatory medium for public engagement.
Drawing from ArtScience Museum' s experience, the session will examine how AI can be integrated into museum programming through immersive installations and educational tools that extend beyond traditional gallery spaces. Attendees will gain insights into designing people-centred experiences that translate complex AI concepts into accessible, tangible encounters that foster cross-disciplinary dialogue and deepen public understanding of emerging technologies.
